Anon, do you really need someone to explain you the difference between π and 2π?

a couple centuries ago the fucking notation we use was not the same as today but the idiots who were brainwashed into thinking shoveling 2pi everywhere was sane forget it and spout the same things forgetting others could have a shiver of ease learning it changing the dumb thing.

This. Everyone talking about history is a fucking moron. We used to write equations in sentences, and eventually abbreviated to single letters standing for "quantity", "quantity squared", "quantity cubed". Math has changed a LOT.
