Is the real reason why /sci/ is shit because science and maths is too slow to have any repeated fresh discussion? Pretty much everything we know now was known 30 years ago, we've just been confirming or improving it. LHC? All particles it discovered were theorized in the 60s. Wendelstien? Rehash of a 50's idea. Reuseable rockets? No new technology, just an attempt to commercialize it.
