Here's a perspective and a question, I'd post it on /his/ but for fear of a more /x/ feel to it I'm posting it here.

This is regards to an analyzation of the prospect of a 'mind' of reality or anything else you think it might be applied to, it's an open discussion

With this in mind, is it ethical to pose a dilemma to something that is created as opposed to posing a dilemma to something that is a result of a passive registering of available boundaries?

gee, isn't that awfully convenient

instead of writing a coherent statement that doesn't rely on pseudo-philosophical babble with no fucking context like

you're simply shifting the burden of making sense out of your nonsense onto the audience which you wanted to have a discussion with in the first place

Keep in mind the perspective this is being allocated with

That you respect a spoon as a spoon and because of such don't use it for a shovel, but I'm not bring up the topic of what optimization is atm

With this is mind, when you make, for example AI, is it moral to ask it a question and have it determine the right answer, not that it will be punished, but that the AI would find itself flawed and potentially lash out on its makers, same difference with parents and their kids
