How many of you carry around graphing calculators like the Ti-84? I personally carry one on me whether in my car or my bags.

I tutor a few students a few times a week in math and chemistry and it's not unusual for me to have two or three calculators in my bag at a time.

for the exams your professor will let you use whatever calculator you want, but won't go the extra step of just letting you use MATLAB.

Your face when an illegal calculator monopoly was established due to Texas Instrument's shady as fuck deals with College Board and textbook publishers, making them pretty much the only "legal" calculator allowed to be used on exams and with textbooks, making majority of calculator brands become extinct and killing off innovation and design in calculators for good.

All my calculator needed to do was to perform repetitive task that I am likely to make a mistake with.

Things like matrix multiplication and inserting a complex number into a function.

Anything else is literally a waste of energy.
