Hey
I'm looking for a explanation on some pretty basic math, but I just cant seem to get my head around it.
I'm going to my math exam this tuesday and one of the subjects is Vectors in 3D and in that subject we need to calculate the angle between 2 vectors.
So it's pretty much just putting in numbers and calculating but one of the steps confuses me.
How does 3 / (3 * sqrt(2) ) = 1 / 2 * sqrt(2)?
The exam is without any calculators and I used maple only to check this one out by the way
Thanks

>3/3sqrt(2)
>1/sqrt (2)
>2^(-1/2)
>2^(1/2)/2
>sqrt (2)/2

What the fuck, OP?

oops the fourth step should be multiplied be 1/sqrt(2) * sqrt(2)/sqrt(2)

Thanks, helps a lot.
