Time travel should technically possible due to the new quark fundamentalism. Furthermore, standard model shows that the higgs-boson is the mass attributing substance. To move faster, or faster than light, we have to use anti-matter which uses the negative excitations of the higgs field to move faster than light. So yeah, physics allows it.

The problem is, Time is less of a "thing" than it is an arbitrary form of measurement that was assigned.

It's like asking to go forward and back through a ruler (the concept and not the units of measurement).

Time Travel always was and always will be Science Fiction.

You can travel into the future at a greater rate by approaching the speed of light. Obviously that requires yet to be discovered energy sources and propulsion systems.

Time and space are the same thing. Space-Time. That one can move in space implies one ought to be able to move in time. The grandfather paradox could be bullshit if parallel universes exist, by killing your grandfather before you were born you might just create another universe.

If you could observe everything in the universe at once in real time and make a quantum simulation of the entire universe based on these results then you could "travel through time" and know every event that has ever happened.
