How many of you have actually taken a real, professionally administered IQ test as an adult? Why did you have to take it?

For the rest, where did you get the scores you're posting? Online tests? Tests you took as children? I ask because online tests vary a lot, so unless everybody here took the same online test, there's no way to compare these scores, making them meaningless.

And if you're posting childhood scores, that's even worse. High scores usually drop a lot by the time you're an adult. If you got 150 as a kid, you're sill going to be above average, but you might be closer to 100 than you are to 150.

I took a few online a few months ago got results that varied from 120+ to 140+ so I got a professional one for £85. Took about 2 hours.. Got 137
