I watched a documentary about an aspie. Not one of those geniuses, just a normal guy with asperger's. He was married, so obviously they can learn how to maintain relationships. He also had his own house and was working some medium salary job. In the video he explained how for him there is no difference between a car, a dog and a human. In his view they are all just moving objects with more or less predictable trajectories. He also does some weird rituals like stepping back and forth in every direction before leaving the house.

I was a child prodigy in math and to some degree physics,could calculate square roots and quadrates on the fly when I was 5, could name the main elements found in the atmosphere of all the planets in our solar system at 4, but had severe traumatic near death experiences and had serious brain damage, and that's why I'm here now not even nearly as intelligent as my 3 year old me.

I did not have poor social skills, unless not wanting to socialise at all is equal to poor social skills. But having anger fits and attacking people mercilessly when they bothered me didn't really help my childhood.
