I think he might be right, actually. There is no "cure" for Ebola as of yet. All we know to do is to treat it symptomatically (i.e. one symptom at a time) to make sure the patients are as comfortable as possible while their immune systems develop an appropriate response to the virus.

There are currently news stories about people receiving blood transfusions from younger persons and noticing anti-aging effects, so don't be too quick to knock transfusion stories. Blood is whacky shit.
