>theory of evolution states that the incredibly complex and organized life we see today (see Fibonacci spiral in nature) began as simple, disorganized chemicals
>whatever happened to the second law of thermodynamics
>also universe 'sploded outta nowhere

Fuck why is it so easy to misapply the second law of thermodynamics?

i put some leftover pizza in the microwave and it got hotter, but it should have gotten colder according to the second law of thermodynamics

The more complex the organism, the higher the entropy m8.

Look the differences between a bacterium and an human, What is the most organized?
Obviously the bacterium is the simplest.

That's not what the second law of thermodynamics means. Entropy is not, in fact, the same thing as messiness.

Also, even if it somehow actually meant "structure cannot arise from lack of structure, ever", which it really really doesn't, the Second Law only applies to closed systems anyway. Which Earth is not, thanks to a thing you may have heard of called the Sun.

Guys I just wanted to hear some things you guys like to do with chemistry or any other practicable science. The gas/pressure water bottle bomb was just an example of chemical reactions that are enjoyable to watch.
