My mother had a seizure a couple of weeks ago. Since then, she has had problems with memory, attention, trouble sleeping, and feels sick in the morning.

Is this brain cancer? If so, how far along (what stage) do these symptoms show up?

She can't have problems with memory or attention because they aren't objectively definable terms.

A seizure with cognitive problems and nausea can be a sign of literally thousands of different neurological problems

memory: behavioral change caused by experience
attention: can't find it because everything comes up ADHD but it exists, I remember having to memorize it for intro to neuroscience.

>memory: behavioral change caused by experience
it does not necessarily involve a behav change

Any concept in psychology that doesn't eventually result in a behavioral phenomena is unscientific. You can only study empirical things in science, if it's not eventually behavior you can't study it, because of the other minds problem.
