I'm never really sure of the correct place to post these, but /sci/ seems to be a bit more appreciative of what these are, so here you go:

Another thread of my fractals for anyone who can appreciate the potential beauty and art of math.

Madelbulb 3D. A free 3D fractal computing program. Takes a bit of learning to make anything "polished", but there are a few tutorials around for those with the time.

These are great. You should make tutorials on how to 'polish' fractals using that program

I might but I would hate to influence someone's creative work on this program. I is their job to learn and create on their own.

I make a thread on here about every month. If you have a specific question about it, I will answer.

Is the brain essentially a fractal circuitboard?

>> No.6635630

This is probably a retarded question, but is it possible to create a shape or fractal or whatever with a fractal dimension of pi?

As most fractal formulas start with a 2D object, "perfect" cube, or sphere and work inward, I dont see why not
.
>>6635625
I don't know the answer to that. Fractals seem to be a highly efficient way of storing and receiving information among other things, so it would not surprise me if evolution had adapted such a method to its design a long the way.

Yes, but pi is larger than 3, so it would be embedded in four dimensional euclidean space. So either you would have to view a three dimensional image in motion or projects (shadows) of the object in lower dimensions.

you need to work on your colour theory OP.
most of these look like you made them by accident too.

Most of them were found by accident. That is partly why I find this fun.
I'm not implying in any way my "supreme artistic or mathematical skill" is behind any of these. I just find one I like, position camera, and color a bit.

draw a sin(x) curve
draw sin(2x)/2 following the trajectory of the first
repeat it a dozen times
wrap it around the origin to connect the ends
