No, since females recieve two X chromosomes. There would only have to be a single recessive gene present in a male's X in order to be expressed, therefore, males are more likely to express recessive traits.

More females dye their hair lighter than it really is because it's culturally perceived as sexy in our society.
So no females are no more likely to have recessive traits but you do see more blond women than males.

"It's because the "Y" genes that females lack, resonate in a lower frequency, closer to animals or minerals. So men are more instinctive and simple minded like that, because half the genes are on a low resonating field.

What the hell did I just read?

The reason that women are less likely to express recessive traits is actually quite simple:
I assume you know that in order for a recessive trait to be expressed, two alleles for the trait must be present. This is true for females because of their TWO X chromosomes. However, since the X chromosome is the main warehouse for sex-linked genes, males, who have only ONE X chromosome only need ONE allele of a recessive trait for it to be fully expressed, as opposed to females who require an allele on both of their x chromosomes.
