If you want something done, do it in Fortran. If you can't do it in Fortran do it in assembly language. If you can't do it in assembly language then it's not worth doing.

I have never seen anyone code in fortran and used any data structure that wasn't:
* A X
* A list of X
* A matrix of X
where X is a complex, real, or integer.

The program starts out with a dozen lines, and it's all simple enough to follow.. and then a year later, it's unsalvageable.

Because I write code for my own project, write code in rotating pairs at my company, do code reviews, re-factor old code to ensure high quality codebase, dive into image manipulation algos, study data mining and hang out stackoverflow & the likes.
