This isn't because batteries or gasoline engines suck, this is because hydraulic actuators suck in terms of efficiency. Switching to electric actuators would increase runtime due to increased efficiency.

Yeah. I don't even want to imagine that thing running 30 mph at me on a battlefield with a turret on its back. It could happen. Just imagine the psychological aspect of that for an enemy combatant. These things aren't programmed to fear unlike humans who have a strong sense of self preservation.
