Does weight lifting waste energy that could be used for thinking?

thinking wastes energy that could be used for lifting
thinking = lost gains
why do you think bodybuilders are stereotyped to be dumb meatheads?

You can study and exercises, but not enough to be a big guy. If you want real gains, you gotta sacrifice your I.Q. So its not an excuse to be a fatass, but its true that the ones with big muscles must be dumb. No one can be that efficient at time managing.

General exercise increases blood flow to the brain, my grades and general understanding of my course work have improved since I started working out again.

Also steady state cardio is good think time

DEPENDS ON THE WEIGHT LIFTING.

ANY KIND OF POWER LIFTING WILL KILL THE JOINTS AND SINEWS OVER TIME THAT ARE THE SOURCE OF WELL-BEING AND STABLE THINKING.

>> No.6354194

I was on a tour of the Roman Forum last summer, and this obnoxious woman in my tour group who insisted on asking dozens of idiotic questions also insisted that one could burn significant calories via intense thinking, on a level comparable to exercise.

So, while the brain uses energy in the physics sense, it doesn't do use it at a rate anywhere near comparable to the amount used by muscles.

Furthermore, suggesting a known and exact quantitative link between "intense thinking" and energy used, is to suggest the existence of a known and well understood mechanism of consciousness that is quantitative enough to establish an equivalency between energy and thought, which, frankly puts one on par with The Secret.

PROTIP: Best thinking hours start shortly after waking and best exercise hours start around 5pm. Think first, lift later.

Well, both - thinking and muscles - use ATP, but you can't think "more" just because you have more energy.

It's rather an issue of how muscles change your hormones (more testoserone) which might change th way you think.

Only after breakfast though. You may be refreshed upon waking up, but you haven't eaten in usually 10-12 hours so you're energy availability is at the lowest point.

>> No.6356294

The one thing believed to help us live forever is what we currently call sleep deprivation. We only sleep because we only use 30% of our brain. The sleeping is so our under developed brains can catch up with what we took in during the day. If we used 75% of our brain we would only need 2 hours sleep a day.

I can't believe the general aversion to developing an attractive physique that's present in this thread. You know what wastes energy that could be used for thinking? 4chan!

Cut out one hour a day of 4chan shitposting five days a week and exercise. Within a year and a half, you will look better than 98% of people you meet.
