About intelligence IQ and so on, let me just tell you this:

Never in the history of mankind has a person been glorified and remembered for being intelligent in the sense that he or she has a high IQ. People, especially historic people, are measured by achievement. It is only after their achievements that they are also labeled 'intelligent'. The reason why we are so eager to define the term intelligence and give it a form of measurement like IQ is because it promises us a way to recognize peoples potential for achievement. In a sense intelligence is supposed to be a characteristic that promises achievement. Now because of our inherent drive to self-discovery we'd like to see our own potential and compare it to others. Hence there's a million tests out there that will try to tell you about it.
In the end, however, we always fall back to achievement. And all those numbers that some test has told you at some point will fade to nothing. Jacob Barnett is doing pretty well. And if you look at OP's pic, it's certainly not because someone told him he has potential.

When he first started gaining attention, I remember his mom said in an interview that she knew he was a genius because he was able to teacher himself how to play the piano. I've seen videos of him doing it, and it sounds pretty bad. I mean all he does is try to pluck out melodies from classical music by ear, but he stumbles and never really gets it down.
