Your IQ doesn't matter greatly.

The puzzle tests are merely indicative to your ability to problem solve. Much of the puzzles from well respected tests are flawed and nobody can be blamed for not finding an arbitrary consistency within a puzzle it would also be dependant on luck and familiarity of the concept of the puzzle.

However, I would admit somebody with an IQ of about 60-70 would probably struggle to make a contribution to physics.

Its not infallible or objective, only somewhat indicative.

I tend not to post on /sci/ trying to influence people with reason and logic, but maybe this time someone will listen.
