Let's play a game, /sci/. The picture I have uploaded is of a Nobel Prize.

Try and guess who it belongs to.

Best I could do for a timestamp, sorry guys. At the time he was giving a lecture on his work. He handed out his medal and said "everyone always gets a kick out of this" and it got passed around. His lecture was interesting, but very plain. He dumbed down his work significantly, but he had incredibly intuitive ways to describe his findings. I enjoyed it, especially since I know almost nothing about high level cosmology like that.

He also doesn't seem like his "fame" has changed him, that being said I didn't really know of him before he won the prize. He's a HUGE deal on campus, but outside of that I'm sure no one even knows who he is. I will say that he was pretty humble about winning the Nobel prize. A couple of times he made jokes about how he didn't even do anything "I just did some math", and even included a conversation he had with his colleagues about his findings where Brian Schmidt said:

>As serious scientists and researches (LOL), I feel we have an obligation to check our work before submitting it, but I hope it's right!

It was pretty down to earth to see Nobel Prize winning work discussed like that.
