I heard that they were running out on fundings...

I dont think they have enough money.

That would explain why OP is spamming his advertising link on /sci/.

>> No.6133036

Holy shit, where can I invest AGAINST this monstrosity and precious resource butchering?
We should focus our efforts on already existing problems, not pointless and fruitless shit like this.

They should be charged with scientific terrorism, tried by a scientific judge and get shot dead by scientific police....

Well don't forget that, basically, this is a tv-show, not a scientific research. It's always better than all the other crap that passes on tv nowadays.

I hope their makeshift rocket blows up before lift-off

That means it doesn't belong on /sci/.

This is actually a good start on our space exploration. We'd finally be able to explore the galaxy pretty much that the Christian dark ages and Generation Y prevented us for so long.

Please tell me this has a chance of happening? I always wanted to raise a family on Mars where there is a small tight not community that will develop good morals compared to the degeneracy of Earth.

hahahaha… once merchants get there, mars will be as fucked as earth.

Do we even have any info on the launcher system they'll be using?
Will it be a massive tower of power with everything or in-orbit assembly?

Uhh, every society needs a functioning economy, bro. Why the fuck would having a market place to sell commodities be a bad thing?

No, they're not going to make it OP. They're going to try and fail. It will be spectacular. Halfway there the diahhrea and wasting will be evident, the psychological breakdown will be extreme. By the time they come within 12 million miles of the Red Planet, they will be so weak that mission control will initiate an abort of mission.

On the return, for unexplained reasons, multiple equipment failures will result in a desperate situation that will be tracked by media worldwide. The humans on board will perish and their craft will hobble towards Earth, but remote guidance will be impaired and the capsule will partially burn apart in the atmosphere, raining down as glowing hot wreckage.

Thats pretty derivative. Writing is a creative art, moron. The culture has enough hacks rehashing old themes.

Twas invented by the man to keep us down. Methods for predicting the effects of mid to low levels of chronic radiation have repeatedly proven to be inaccurate in both animal and human studies. The actual effect is much more benign than the models predict and exposure actually has some protective protective effects.
