... and nothing happened. Take this shit to /b/.

actually if you follow the instructions the spoon will explode from the rapid temperature change and the tape preventing it from expanding. It'll fuck you up pretty bad with metal shards. Or so I've heard.

yes, because no one on the internet would lie to you

Why wouldn't it happen? I've seen things explode from rapid temperature changes many times in the past

Having metal explosively shatter from a temperature differential, no matter how rapid, is pretty close to impossible.

>> No.5994134

>HUIRR QUENCHING = EXPLOSION

Yeah, no. At best the metal might crack. Back to >>>/b/.

Look up what 'quenching' is

wat...are you retarded?
it's very possible, with many different types of materials

usually the metal isn't tightly wrapped in tape while being quenched.

it sends an air bubble to your heart and causes you to die

Depends on how much you get. Was in the military and some stupid faggot gave me damn near half a line of air because he forgot to prep the line and because I forgot to check his work. I felt a "fart" go through my heart, but I didn't die. I was pretty pissed and almost beat his ass. The instructor said it was impossible for me to feel a "fart" go through my heart because I would be dead, but I felt it.

Good lord, I think I need to stop coming here with these levels of stupid

It works by making you go permanently blind.

Or temporarily if you're lucky and act quickly one you realise what you've done. But people who would do it in the first place probably arent aware enough to act in time.

>> No.5994223

What bullshit. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm about to make some beautiful crystals with household chemicals...

>> No.5994226

>>5994203
It's very unlikely that you'd go permanently blind by getting a splash of gasoline in your eyes.

It would hurt like a bitch, though.

>> No.5994229

>>5994226
And you wouldn't see colors like that either.

>> No.5994231

>>5994229
Well, of course not.

For starters, you'd get it in one eye, and then you wouldn't see much of anything through all the tears as your eye struggles to wash itself out. You'd probably be running straight for the nearest bathroom, too, to wash your eye out.
