Why do alot of people say that our generation is going to be the first generation that is able to choose when one dies?

Surely that's another two or three generations away?

There are, and always have been, a million and one ways to kill yourself. I don't understand?

Extend the life span

>> No.5941287

It probably won't ever happen. People don't even see aging as a problem, they just accept it and die. Even worse than that drugs that make already healthy humans better like steroids and stimulants are illegal almost everywhere unless a doctor says you need it. I don't know of any one that is doing serious research to extend the human lifespan.

that's not choosing when one dies, that's extending your life span. I still don't understand.

Even assuming you know the exact day you die, that adds a few years as your choice. It doesn't change the fact that you have a choice to die when you want.

it's not a problem. you afraid of dieing? boy, I got bad news for you.

Seriosuly? I thought it was pretty straightforwardly implied from my previous post, but if you need me to spell it out, here it is.

You see ageing as a problem, and the fact that people just accept it and die as a problem. The bad news is you are going to age and die.
