FYI OP, the efficiency of a gas turbine is roughly proportionate to its size. A small turbo diesel MIGHT be better.

there are some neat small units and at surprisingly low prices of 5k-10k. tbh I have no clue how much power a turbine needs to produce the electricity needed. if the translation is 1:1 then obviously you need a truck for it.

You could move down south,build a small cabin, have some one build a small hydro generation plant,the infrastructure that goes with it,and spare parts for the generation for less than 100k.
