Hey there /sci/ i have a very weird question on my mind and it might sound stupid. So it goes like this If im to travel in the speed of light to space to that era where from my perspective Hitler was born, and lets say i have a super gun that fires a killing laser million times faster than the speed of light. will that actually make Hitler vanish from history?

***No, because even if you see the period Hitler was born, the laser will still hit the present, even assuming you got to your location immediately. You can't shoot shit back in time, but you can travel in such a way that time is slower or faster for you.
***Assuming infinite energy would cause the time jump to be possible then no as the second firing would also jump time. I'm no metaphysics master but that entire theory smells like crap.
