The AI currently being researched are task specific, e.g. recognition of very specific patterns, learning of classification, optimized path finding etc. We are far away from efficiently combining all these types to make an artifical human-like intelligence.

Anyway, true artificial intelligence will be capable of self incorporating digital data into its data stream. They would not get tired as humans would and could effectively assimilate knowledge constantly without the need to stop. Also the efficiency of which a true A.I would be able to incorporate and actually understand knowledge would be far superior to that of a biological computer such as the brain.
