Wait until he's asleep, use the time until then to prepare a way to get rid of the body.
Use heated lye (http://www.slate.com/articles/news_and_politics/explainer/2009/12/soluble_dilemma.html)) or any sort of acid (sulfuric?) to dissolve it if that is an option.
Know anyone with a pig farm? Drop off the body there, it may not get rid of every trace but it'll be pretty close.

Otherwise you'll have to bury it somewhere. Not as a whole, but in pieces. Put the body in your bathtub, cut open the arteries and start draining it of its blood. Pour bleach down your sink to reduce the smell. Afterwards start chopping up the body, a butcher's knife will do. Chop it in 6 - 8 pieces.
Drive out at night between 3 and 5, taking only one piece with you and bury it in a potato field or something. Repeat this on another night for every piece.
Bury them in a rough circle and make sure that you live *outside* of that circle.
Dissolving is still a better option though.

They'll identify him by face. If you mangled that too, they'll look for people who meant missing. People will notice that OP's roommate is missing.
They can then DNA-match the body to OP's roommate's parents and then OP is the primary suspect.

Avoid the finding of the body at all costs, say that you don't know where your roommate disappeared off to.

If OP is the primary suspect after the body is discovered then he would have been prior to it, he's not going to want to raise anymore suspicion by sneaking out every night and he's certainly not want the police to search his place before getting rid of all the pieces, better to just get rid of it all at once.
