Meh, certainly not the best I've done. My only complaint is that my I.Q. score usually tends to reflect my consciousness. The first time I took one, (and it was an online test), I scored a pretty embarrassing 111. The second time, fortunately, was a legitimate I.Q. test where I had a decent amount of rest, and was well nourished before taking it; on that test, I scored 128. My week has been very dull and tiresome, I'm not at all nourished, I feel as though I could fall asleep within seconds, and I didn't put much effort into this one, (I finished with 30minutes on the clock).

But with excuses aside, perhaps I do have an average mind, starving for quality brain food. I'll try taking better care of myself, and hopefully the quality of my mentality will become enhanced. More sleep, better dieting, more reading, more studying, less social websites.

That book is about Psychology. Consciousness is not directly linked to spiritualism, although they can be related. There was another I quite liked called something like 'Phantoms of the mind' (or brain, I am not sure)
But to be honest, I do not usually stick with a specific book for a long period of time, I like a lot of variation in my reading, and I am not particularly good at remembering titles or authors.
It has also been several months since my graduation, and even though I do still read for recreation, and this is still occasionally Psychology related, I am not actually obligated to still read it because all of my examinations have finished.

Visual puzzles test your ability to see and understand patterns, that's what IQ tests are all about.
They're not really a test of how smart you are per say, but rather how easy it is for you to understand things.

A person with an IQ of a 135 or 140 could be complete idiot and looser who works as a fry cook while a person who has an IQ of 105 or 115 could be a chemist or mathematician and socially successful.

It's a VERY shortened version of a single section evaluated in a real IQ test. It did rate me at 134 though, which is relatively accurate.

I've ran through a multitude of rather thorough IQ tests in the last 3 years or so and the uninfluenced results come back ranging from 129-144. This actually saddens me greatly, I really don't feel like I'm what I would consider "smart", but the blatant stupidity I see around me on a daily basis year after year really drives home the fact that people with 'intellect' closer to or similar to my own, or better yet, even smarter than I am. On the rare occasion I meet with somebody of superb intelligence, even simple conversation can prove enlightening.

My parents pushed me into an evaluation program prior to college and a few IQ exams were part of the deal. It got long and boring after a while. Out of curiosity, I dosed 80mg of Adderall and nearly an eighth of shrooms before tackling the day's tests. And lo and behold, I achieved a 156 due to massive improvements in areas that normally I have trouble with.
