well, heres the deal, my ex gf and i never met, but we have this certain connection, but i drove her to the edge and i was pretty fuckiing sure id never hear from her again, and then i went to jail for about 50 days and during those 50 days i was getting these thoughts of thinking of her and i could tell these were not my thoughts, and and then i dreamed of her, and then i was hearing/feeling her thoughts about me. and days before i got out i was preparing what i would say to her when i got out because i knew she would try to come into contact with me. once i got out, everything i was feeling was true. and this was about 7 months after never hearing a word from her.

oh it was a dui charge i commited highly impulsivly, oh some girl that i talked to years ago and tracked me down, and i was nice enough to accept her even though we never met. but yeah when i was in jail after 7 months with out talking to her i was sensing her thinking about me and eventually i know what her motives were when she came into contact with me again and i even had plans of how to avoid her and even plans if those plans did not work i never thought of a third plan though or i never considered of not talking to her

well, i was thinking they were not mine because i was not missing her, i was thinking of her out of nowhere, no nostaligia of any sort. and when they got stronger i could almost litterally tell what she was thinking about me, and when i got home and checked my email there she was, and relentlyessly wanted to call me over the phone and i could tell how much she missed me when her and i spoke, and she was dreaming of me as well. and i had one dream of her as well when i was in jail.

The majority of the events that cause us to recall memories at seemingly random times occur without our conscious knowledge. These thoughts seem to 'come out of nowhere' but in reality we just aren't aware of the causes because they are occurring in parts of our brain that we don't have subjective experiences of.

You obviously had a lasting impact on this girl such that she began to think about you consciously. The events causing you're thoughts of each other can and, most likely, occurred with large spans of time between them. You just came to the conscious realization that you were both thinking about each other at the same time; this could have happened at any time while your memories were active.
