Hello!
I’m currently developing and running a project in Brasil with NASA and Stanford University on research of solar flares/bursts and its effects on Earth’s Ionosphere and Ozone Layer, with emphasis on telecommunications and electricity distribution facilities. Our research is based on two kinds of studies: radiotelescope-based and weather balloon. We plan to launch a huge weather balloon with a lot of experiments. This small satellite will orbit the Earth for about 1 hour and then go down with a parachute. We plan to have two cameras with battery packs for filming the entire flight and orbit, besides all the equipment like geiger counters, Space Weather Monitor, EM detectors, laser system, satellite trackers, temperature logger, all plugged in a Raspberry Pi and a Arduino Board. But we don't have enough money to afford this project. It is a wonderfull region for this kind of studies, as we're in the SAA (South Atlantic Anomaly
