Are there any real scientists here? Most people here seem to be in High School or college. Are there any proffesional graduates, engineers, physics/chemistry-scientists or doctors here?

>> No.5361667

the real scientists are busy making 300k+ per year instead of browsing shitposts on 4chan

And doing research like Mars landing and particle smashing instead of studying for High School/college exams?

>implying a real scientist with $300k a year can't find time to dick around in /sci/

I'm a published mathematician, does that count?

I don't really like to call myself a scientist, but I am about half a semester from my phd and I work full-time at a research lab.

>> No.5362142

when does one become an actual scientist, does it require a phd, or would a b.s. suffice? perhaps a masters?

>> No.5362143

well op, would you say we must have or phd to be scientist? or just masters or recognition from where we work at that preforms scientific research. you need to define exactly what you mean.

Does philosophy count as science? I'm a philosopher.

I would say b.s would suffice if you were working at a lab

BSc will make you nothing more than a technician. People who get a BSc and then think they are scientists are just delusional.

oh i know you!

the problem with that publication was that it was inherently limited to the forth dimention without observing the sixth, seventh, eighth, or nineth! how could you possibly assume that in a singular time dimention effects of spaical disturbances wouldn't effect probably time alterations from the result of hypodimentional time displacement!? clearly when theological beings wern't evaluated singular time no longer would exist in a prestructed enviroment. your a fucking retarded quack!

ignore him op, he's just as retarded as hawking with his goddamn whiteholes. i swear they'll call anyone a scientist now a days.

what about nuclear technitions, they might encouter certain scientific duties. and make 100k+ i'd say they might be scientist.

i happen to have a certificate which states that i'm a scientist but i didnt finish getting my degree. the research that the lab that i work at is accreadited and we're mostly scientist. the other guys and engineers all have degrees though.
;_; am i a scientist op?

then explain how it is that if time were a singular dimention and not a wave curret effecting multiple dimentions that time travel backwards could be possible let alone work.
