I think that,

We use should use our combined knowledge of math to predict future share prices.

What do you think /sci/?

>our combined knowledge of math

You mean highschool calculus?

I think that,

the combined knowledge of /sci/ is enough to just barely pass a junior level physics course.

/sci/ can't even agree on whether 0.999... and 1 are the same number. Do you really expect such a bunch of retards to be capable of working on a serious project?

Come on guys, if we do this we could all walk away a little richer.

Now can you predict the price of

MTGE, and GM?

I know MTGE tends to stay around the twenties since its a dividend stock.

/vg/ sure did (Katawa Shoujo)

Why not /sci/

that was /v/, not /vg/.

/vg/ has a community sharing common interests. /sci/ is the most heterogenous board, inhabited by homework kiddies, edgy atheists and self-proclaimed geniuses all fighting against each other in an eternal dick waving contest about who's the smartest.

Well then let us rally /sci/!

I will get /sci/ to get together and do something productive for once!

It's called being an analyst, and they are full time jobs. And it involves more than just math.

>> No.5150188

You can't predict the future stock prices with math. You can predict casino gambling, but not stock prices.

Analysts are full of bs. They are hired to manipulate the stocks price, temporarily. On a rising stock, if they predict wrong, the stock get punished. If they predict right, stock price goes up. Both ways, the analyst isn't wrong.

Have you considered why analysts are paid to study a stocks and give that info out for free? Who works for free, really?
