Warm room/stress (if it's a teaching lab where you are constantly hounded by nazi-like TAs) leads to sweating, sweating leads to humidification of goggle atmosphere, humidity condenses on lens of goggles.

I taped desiccant packets in my goggles once and that seemed to help. You could also see if they'll let you use open safety glasses (doubt it).

I have a spray for my motorbike helmet visor that stops it fogging up, it works great on goggles too. Pop into any bike shop or google it to find out where you can get it, I use a brand called muc off

The chemistry teaching labs I was in and the chemical exposure assessment research lab I worked in all let you use regular safety glasses instead of goggles.

Fuck goggles, wear glasses.

Don't tend to have that problem with lab goggles.....but with ski goggles and diving goggles, I usually spit on the inside and wipe it around.
