Of all the shitty things we could as /sci/entists why the hell is Steve Pavlina included in the sticky?

The guy claims to have completed Computer Science and Mathematics (yes, dual degrees) degrees in 3 semester. Better yet, he claims to have added the Math major during his final semester.

Lets do some basic snooping around just by looking at his self-help website.

Attached is a picture of his transcript during his 3rd semester at UC-Berkely. First off, this immediately discredits him getting dual degrees with 3 semesters, as he had already collected credit hours.

Who takes discrete mathematics as a sophmore? What's with all the engineering classes? I smell something fishy, and its not that one girl who trolls our beloved /sci/ board.

There is no girl trolling this board.

If you mean EK : he is a fat Scots MPD git

Attached is a picture of the transcript of his "3rd" (6th) and final semester.

He had just picked up Math as a major. He was a computer science major prior to this semester.

Computer Science generally requires Calculus I-III; some even forego the multivariate calculus.

Depending on his emphasis, and I'm assuming it is Pure, he had to have taken ODE, PDE, Real&Complex Analysis, Number Theory, Topology, Differential Geometry...I mean shit, that's a lot. Without declaring Mathematics as a primary major in your first year there is no FUCKING way he completed both degrees.

"Some people claim that what I did was impossible because I couldn't have satisfied all the prerequisites in the right order. What they overlook is that I didn't even try to follow this rule. The normal enrollment process enforced prerequisites, but I outsmarted it by adding many classes during the first week of school, which bypassed the computer checks."

God I can just smell the bullshit radiating from this paragraph. Bypassing computer checks? A computer is not some slack-jawed yokel who overlooks mistakes because there's too much work to be done. Its fucking easy to check this with a computer. Wanna enroll in PDE? Did you take ODE? Nope? Sorry motherfucker, denied.

It gets better, read how arrogant this bastard is:

" had no trouble taking more advanced classes concurrent with their prerequisites. I could always adapt my learning as needed. In some cases this gave me an advantage since most students forgot much of the earlier material anyway, but for me that material was very fresh. "

Very fresh my fucking ass. Mathematics students never forget what they have learned because it is continuously beaten into their brains by mentally abusive and demoralizing professors.

All I ask is that whoever controls the google site that is listed on the sticky please remove this piece of shit fuckface. I do not want our youth to be corrupted by some mediocre (at best) conman.

-Our understanding of God is a being than which no greater can be conceived.
-The idea of God exists in the mind.
-A being which exists both in the mind and in reality is greater than a being that exists only in the mind.
-If God only exists in the mind, then we can conceive of a greater being—that which exists in reality.
-We cannot be imagining something that is greater than God.
-Therefore, God exists.
