just a little more help....thanks guys

i made the thread about finding the dimensions

please guys

last bump

You're not even trying, show what you have tried with it and I might consider thinking of maybe helping you.

so far I got 48y^4+x(3y^3/1). I know im way off

>> No.5065934

>>5065924
Would it help if I told you that sqrt(48yx^2) = sqrt(48)*sqrt(y)*sqrt(x^2), also 48=3*16

>> No.5065949

>>5065934
you're talking to a math illiterate. I've written down what you just typed on paper and I have no idea what to do from there.

>> No.5065953

>>5065934
do im guessing from there I just factor or something..?

>> No.5065967

sqrt(48)=sqrt(3)*sqrt(16)=4*sqrt(3)
sqrt(x^2)=x
sqrt(y)=sqrt(y)
so you are left with y*4*sqrt(3)*x*sqrt(y)=y*4*x*sqrt(3y)

x*sqrt(3y^3)= x*y*sqrt(3y)

so in the end you have 4xy*sqrt(3y)+xy*sqrt(3y) that i'm sure you can simplify

5 x y sqrt(3 y)

>>5065967
where else is there to simplify? Its not an equation so I cant just do the sqrt(3y)s on each side

OK I think i got that one. Now I am on this one here. I am thinking its just 2u^2y/y+.20^3u/x or something like that? Give me a sec to work it out on paper; that was just in my head

>> No.5065996

i got

y*sqrt(48*y*x²) + x*sqrt(3*y³)
sqrt(48)*sqrt(y³)*sqrt(x²) + x*sqrt(3)*sqrt(y³)
sqrt(4)*sqrt(4)*sqrt(3)*sqrt(y³)*x + x*sqrt(3)*sqrt(y³)
2*2*sqrt(3)*sqrt(y³)*x + x*sqrt(3)*sqrt(y³)
x*sqrt(3)*sqrt(y³) * ( 4 +1 )
x*sqrt(3)*sqrt(y³)*5

finish

or one of this:

5*x*sqrt(3*y³)
5*x*sqrt(3)*sqrt(y³)
5*x*3^(1/2)*y^(3/2)
5*x*3^(0.5)*y^(1.5)

16*u^6 / ( 8*u^4*y + 30*u³*x )
16*u^3 / ( 8*u*y + 30*x )
8*u^3 / ( 4*u*y + 15*x )

It's 20 instead of 30.

Actually it's

4*u^3/(2*u*y+5*x)

thanks. and what about this? Do I just simply divide every matching part?

damnit i already wrote down all that work and inputted the answer. oh well

OK quiz over. Thanks guys. Guess I should delete this thread unless someone wants to take it over for another topic or something..

sqrt(51*y^3*x^2)

>> No.5066725

That's a hard one, OP. I'll look into it.
