I think there's a big difference between deeply ingrained personality traits which make you less likely to have sex and their effect on intelligence and just casually abstaining from sex to see the short-term effect. The most noticeable effect would be in those people who are, say, virgins in their late 20s.

I would imagine the human body functions at its peak when it's getting sex so there might be a slight increase in intelligence, but this would be counteracted by the time lost.

Also, I noticed up there that people think if you take an IQ test one day as a virgin, then next day as a fulfilled sex man you'll draw some conclusion. Bullshit. If you're distracted by sexual shit all the time of course you're not going to focus entirely on other things.

Look, I have sex regularly and I'm able to think about things just fine. If anything, having that covered in my day to day life just makes things easier. Having sex all the time now just lets me focus on other things.

This is because I have a girlfriend. If you're a person who goes after chicks all the time then it's different. Having a relationship is way more of a mature experience.

I can say that I'm an ex-mormon though and I know a few mormons that have never even masturbated.
