'funner' isnt a word!

>Is chemistry more fun than physics?
FTFY!

also, yes, probably.

at least i can fucking spell, you prick!

>Anyone else care to answer?
nope.
enjoy page 15, cocksucker.

>> No.4910486

I say yes purely because I can actually do things and see things working. Doing something useful is always more fun than making up random crap.

No

2/10, would not bang.

Physics is betterer than chemistry because chemistry cannot get you to the moon alone. Physics can get to the moon by itself, no chemistry.

>> No.4910503

Yes. Who was cooler, your chem teacher or your physics teacher. Case closed.

>> No.4910518

yeah you get to play with chemicals and shit

>> No.4910586

No, you have to play w/ chemicals and shit. I fucking hate lab work. Also, physics is closer to math, and you're figuring out way more fundamental stuff than with chemistry.

So I'd say no, OP.

You've got to watch what you say, my man. What about the fuel they use in those rockets plus all that materials chemistry used to construct the innumerate polymer based objects used on board and on the casing outside the spacecraft.

I'm not saying that chemistry alone can do it, but there are way more factors you have to consider my man. To answer OP's question, it really comes down to you, chemistry has many branches, some which are identical to particle physics and use quantum mechanics. Both run experiments, just requires what your primary interests are.

>chemistry
cool experiments with colors and explosions and shit

>physics
some aspies who think they know math

I'm a p. chem major, so I have to take lots of chem obviously, but also physics up to about the 300-level, and in my experience the chem labs are a lot more difficult and you need to be able to think more, and they are more tedious, but in the end, you get a much more satisfying result if you did it right.

There's nothing like a really nice line of points that you made yourself.

My chem teacher had Michael Jackson's nose and let us make lollipops.

My physics teacher looked like Abraham Lincoln and wouldn't let me postpone a quiz when I had to take an emergency shit break. He also based 30% of our grade on who he picked to answer questions in class.

I vote lollipops.

Career wise:
So much more stuff to do at every tier. Potentially making very good money.

Studying wise:
Cohort is much more personable, we're all slightly crazy and damn good fun.

Ability to make a difference:
As a chemist you can make a much larger impact than in physics, you can get your name all over sythesis paths and crap like that.

Chemistry is just damn good fun for damn good pay.
