hello /sci/, quick question what undergrad class would you get questions like this?

>> No.4841904

looks like first week of freshman calculus

>> No.4841909

>>4841904

thanks for trolling

anyone else? I suspect it's real analysis, but I could be wrong (not math major)

>> No.4841910

into point-set topology, or maybe intro analysis

>> No.4841912

quantum string theory

>> No.4841911

I'd say derp-level topology. But it might as well be real analysis, or even calculus, as anon already suggested.

>> No.4841919

We did this the first 2 weeks of calculus 3 as a backup to understand the theorems regarding integration in domains and stuff. AeroE student here.

>> No.4841920

probably complex analysis. for question (a), ln<0 only occurs for complex values. also, sets and boundaries are commonly used for analysis.

You took >>4841912 seriously? Made my day.

>> No.4841959

Advanced Calculus

Geometry and Topology if your university is particularly easy on undergrads.

>> No.4842458

Real Analysisis, Topology, and probably in the preliminaries of algebraic topology
