This. It would take a colossal feat of collective human effort to construct a vessel even slightly capable of making such a journey. It would have to be a generation ship and it would have to have a vast energy reserve. I believe that engineering can not construct such a thing, but even if it could that human strife would prevent it from being successfully built and launched.
