Global warming is an inevitable process which happens every few thousand years or so. With every ice age, there is then an opposite effect which happens in intervals of thousands of years (which is relatively short considering the history of the earth). This process would happen without the help of humans, however the fear is that humans are speeding it up/intensifying it.
