If this kid wants to learn, great, he should go and do that elsewhere. If he has something interesting to discuss, great, I'm sure people would love to discuss it. If he wants help with his homework or his exams he should blow it out his ass and go somewhere that is meant for that.

The only way to explain it to you OP would be if I took the time to write it all down in Latex, because it's so much like long division. That would take a while so instead I'm going to direct you to these sites:

x^3 + 7x^2 + 14x + 6 / x+3

you look only at the highest power terms at first, x^3 / x
thats x^2, so mark that down on top of the division sign, so then you multiply that by x+3, similar to normal long division to get x^3-3x^2, subtract that from the x^3 + 7x^2 + 14x + 6 to get

4x^2+14x+6,
then look at the highest powers again, 4x^2/x, is 4x, so write that next to the x^2 on top of the division sign giving (x^2+4x) so far, and multiply that by x+3, to get 4x^2+12x, subtract that from the 4x^2+14x+6 to get
2x+6, then look at the highest powers again, 2x/x=2, add that on top of the division sign to get (x^2+4x+2) so far, multiply it by x+3 to get 2x+6, subtract that from the 2x+6, to get 0, then you have 0 remainder, and the answer is:
x^2+4x+2
