I don't understand the hate behind engineering maths, in my country it's the entirety of the hardest year 12 maths and everything that is normally done in first year engineering maths in our countries compressed into a single semester.

In the year 12 textbook that I'm working through, we have to construct simple proofs every couple of questions.

I mean, really? Just because we solve bigger problems than you guys and we do it with computers doesn't mean that we're in any way inferior.
