Ignoring the fact that not all web browsers have spell check (IE 9, for example), it doesn't matter. The way people write -- just like the way people dress, speak, etc. -- is largely determined by the image associated with it. I guess it's not "cool" or "hood" to write in proper grammar, so they made their own grammar and spelling conventions. And yes, it is a grammar -- this may surprise your racist brain, but it is a grammar, with rules that are scrupulously adhered to.

And yes, I barely understand what they're writing. Because I don't have ghetto black friends. If I did, I would understand them, for the same reason you and I understand what I'm writing now.

To be honest I do think it is a bit environmental.
Not in the usual sense though.

I've talked to some more intellectual black people and they say that they are always told by family and friends that they don't act "black enough", and a bunch of other things about how black stereotypes that black people have of THEMSELVES is holding them back.

Maybe this isn't as true of the type of free minded people on /sci/ (usually) but imagine that the vast majority of white children grew up around parents who talked like that, and felt strong peer pressure, even family pressure to act like that themselves (almost like they would be cast out of their entire culture if they didn't conform), and grow up in environments that completely devalue intelligent endeavors..
I think we'd see a ton of white people that seem to be just as "stupid" as these guys seem to us.


I don't buy that there are environmental factors in IQ tests and stuff like that, I think that they DO have lower intelligence, but I think it's from a lack of mental exercise. They grew up in environments that starved their mental capacities to death. Doesn't necessarily mean this sort of thing is genetic.

Blacks see education as being white washed, so any form of education at a young age is normally ignored.

Climate theory is the best known theory. It generally works with some problems for arctic peoples who have a larger brain than all other populations but are not as smart (altho they are not dumb either compared with most human groups).

Shouldn't the children be adopted by parents who have the same skin color than them ?
Not being able to identify to your parents seems to be a pretty important environmental factor to me.
