Since this is the closest board to finding people who actually care about college education, what do you guys think about edX?

Call me old fashioned, but I think e-learning is the most pointless thing in the world.

>> No.4648278

>> No.4648281

I'm excited, especially after finishing Stanford's Game Theory course this Spring.

>For a modest fee, and as determined by the edX board, MIT and Harvard, credentials will be granted only to students who earn them by demonstrating mastery of the material of a subject.

"Modest fee" is the only information so far.

Modest fee my ass, i will enjoy pirating these courses. I can't stand companies whose products cost the same in USA and in 3rd world countries such as mine

As I understand it, the courses themselves will be free but you'll need to pay for the certification if you qualify for it at the end.

>> No.4648554

Unless I can get college credit I'm not fucking paying a penny. I can learn the same material elsewhere for free.
