On /b/ you can start a cool science thread whenever you want and for sure there are intelligent people to reply, while shitposters stay to their threads.
On /sci/ there is close to no actual discussion. Most threads are underageb& spam and when someone starts an interesting topic, it gets derailed by shitposters.

I dunno. I find /sci/ to be pretty good most of the time.

The only problem is that it's Finals week right now. So the only people here are those who are either trying to distract themselves for a bit or those who aren't in school to begin with.

I don't imagine that summer will be all that great either. But this time of year is particularly bad.

/sci/ is full to the brim of trolls. But at least it's better than most boards which are full of normalfags.
