I'm recently transferred from a community college to a state school. My reason for going was because I did good enough in highschool to get into one of those degree mill schools, that no one ever hears of, (UNCP) but not good enough to go to a normal state school, so I figured community college was the best.

I agree, OP. There's no excuse for going to a shitty community college. I barely passed high school with a sub 2.7 GPA, and still managed to get into one of the top 3 best universities in my state.

I had pretty decent SAT scores and a killer essay, plus teachers practically begging to write me reccomendations.

I only wanted to go to Caltech or UCLA, but I was rejected by both as a freshman. So I went to UC San Diego for a year and hated it. Then I came back to LA and enrolled at Pierce community college and eventually transferred to UCLA, double major in civil engineering and French

Did not get into Caltech for grad school but accepted at CAL.

But I will agree most juco students are stupid, but no one wants to tell them that. They are barely smarter than the dumb fucks that join the military. The ones starting juco at the pre-calculus level are ok.
