Do good not for the sake to please god, get rewarded with paradise, avoid damnation, or to look good in the eyes of others. Do good for the fact that you know that it is the right thing to do. Instead of obeying the will of God, Be the will of God.
strive for honor, strength, wisdom, benevolence, moral righteous, courage, respect, loyalty, honesty or more virtues if you please.
Anyone can be an asshole and be a negative in someones life. Be a positive so when people see you, they see their lives becoming better. Sooth those around you in this vicious world.
If we die and there's nothingness, whatever. happens to everyone and there's not a damn thing we can do about it. If theres heaven, if you're virtuous you're in. A virtuous god can not damn someone who did his will. Acts > words/beliefs Always. If for some reason god is a dick and needed you to pick the right faith then fuck him cause you were still a good person in life and helped those around you. God is not virtuous then. There's no justice in that.
