This is really important. I know this isn't exactly meant for a board about science and math, but I bet there are some doctors or med students on here, right? Anyway, my girlfriend was supposed to get her period about two weeks ago, but she is not pregnant. Is she okay? What's wrong with her? I'm worried. And if this is a common thing, don't call me stupid. I'm just not an expert on periods. :p

How do you know she's not pregnant? Those pregnancy tests aren't always perfect... Or she might've kept the actual result a secret...

Sometimes women just don't menstruate during a particular month for a litany of reasons unrelated to pregnancy. Same thing happened to my girlfriend recently too, and it can be caused by any number of things, from stress to a diet change or for no reason at all really. Nothing is wrong with her, put your worries to rest.

Thanks, man.

Her hormones are fucked up.

Most common causes are either she's recently started taking birth control pills or she's dangerously underweight.

First you tell me my girlfriend is fat and now you're calling me a cont? What's your deal?
