God's existence can't be proven or disproven. Literalist/ fundamentalist religion can be disproven, though. For example, the Earth revolves around the Sun, contradicting Chronicles 16:30, Psalm 104:5, Ecclesiastes 1:5, and Joshua 6.

As a theist myself, I advise OP to focus on feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, sheltering the homeless, caring for the sick, and comforting the imprisoned. I seem to recall God having rather harsher words for those who don't do that than for those who don't tell atheists that they're ignorant.
