Sup /sci/, /x/ here

What qualifications would you say one needs to be a legitimate ancient alien researcher? Like Dr. Tsoukalos for example. Stuff like this is my passion and I'd like to take a purely scientific approach to it and make it a career.

You need a degree in sports information and communication.

Probably a masters in history at the very least. Ancient aliens might be bs, but the people on that show know a fuck ton about ancient history.

As long as you do not turn into the Crazy Hair Man and actually <span class="math">believe[/spoiler] it to be true, I would say go for a science undergraduate (perhaps physics or engineering), and go for a graduate degree in some form of history, or stick with science. As long as you follow the scientific method, and find evidence to support your claims (not purely speculation as Mr. Tsoukalos is wont to do), then you will be taken seriously. Just do not say it is the truth, with many unfounded things. Otherwise, you are no better than a theologian or religious nutjob.
