>Business is responsible for most of the jobs, including scientific and mathematics.
Don't be daft, business majors don't do anything for the economy or for Science & Math.
Science & Math researchers only need a stable government/uni to give them grant money.
With the exception of Law and health related jobs, EVERY job was created by engineers, you can't run a business without a fucking product to sell, and you can't make/manufacture anything useful without an engineer.
Consequently engineering is the most prominent degree earned by fortune 500 CEO's

>I won't argue that it is a difficult degree to get,
It's not even slightly difficult. Why else do you think half the country has business degree?

>I will argue that it takes a special talent to run a successful business.
Like being able to talk, read, write and not being an idiot- there's no "special talent" required stop trying to bullshit yourself for being such a failure.

>Chances are most of you assholes taking God Tier degrees will be working for someone that obtained a business, econ, etc degree.

There's no reason to pay large amounts of money to study something that you don't have any talent in anyway (unless you're one of those rich/stupid kids that go to college for the "college experience"). If you are talented you'd be making money selling your shit, not going to uni. Art history can be studied in your free time.

We don't "hate" art majors, we just have no respect for them whatsoever.

I think the point is that most engineers are capable of starting a business or at least doing high-level management. If you look at businesses which produce products of value, most were started by someone of an engineering or science background. Business is useful as a concept; obviously every country needs some sort of private sector. However, a business degree isn't really necessary, you'd be better learning how to make something first, learning business skills second.

uhm. no.

Even chemist admit that ChemE. is better than pure Chem, ChemE's do everything pure chem (except for pure chem specializations) majors do on top of all the other engineering, physics and thermo they take. The only reason you'd take Chem is if you couldn't get into chemical engineering.

Physics is the only truly God-tier pure science.

Enrollment =/= graduation fucktard, the very reason female enrollment rates for ChemE is so high in the first is because of all the propaganda to get more females into the field (admissions also select disproportionately more females than males too), most of them drop out 1st-2nd year because they can't handle the math intensive course load.
My I should've said "my country" instead of the world though, but I don't expect it would be much different elsewhere. CS is almost pure female (relatively speaking), EE is about the same as ChemE, EnviroE has the most females.
